Professor of Clinical Psychology and chair of the Department of Psychology at the University of Amsterdam, his main research interests lie in the fields of PTSD and personality disorders, both applied and fundamental. Dr. Escudero Rotman is a Clinical Psychologist with more than 25 years of experience in our field . She began her Schema Therapy training in 2004 in New York City with Dr. Jeffrey Young, Wendy Behary, Joan Farrell, Ida Shaw and Scott Kellogg. When living in New York City, she participated in a weekly peer supervision group (that included Jeff Conway, Marsha Blank, Travis Atkinson, Scott Kellogg and Janet Klosko). Her participation in this peer supervision group helped her to further refine her Schema Therapy clinical skills. She is the founder and director of the Argentinian-American Schema Therapy Institute. And an Assistant professor at the school of medicine at Mount Sinai hospital in New York City . She founded the Schema Therapy program and teaches ST to the residents in psychiatry. Her active participation in the Schema Therapy Community allows her to continue learning from experts such as Wendy Behary and Joan Farrell.
